Melbourne band ‘Pearls’ play stomping glam-rock, and after a self-titled EP in late 2012, the band spent a year recording Pretend You’re Mine with engineer Haima Marriott (Architecture in Helsinki, The Harpoons).The swaggering Big Shot had regular radio play and premiered on US music magazine Spin‘s website, who compared Pearls to Blondie.
